Elaine has been an active participant in Indigenous ministry together with her husband Ray for over 30 years. Elaine contributes her energies, with My People, on the Inenimowin Circle ministry – a program that is focused on creating and facilitating support groups for people who have suffered abuse.

Elaine and Ray have four children: Jenny, who has graduated from the University of Regina and the Alliance University College, is a school teacher in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada; Raymond, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Philosophy at the University of Calgary; Catherine, who is attending Columbia Bible College in British Columbia, Canada; and Rueben who is a derrick hand and relief driller in the Oilfield. Ray, Elaine’s husband, is ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada and chairs the board of Indigenous Pathways.
